Writing about Apple security, threat intelligence, homelabs, and the long road of learning in public.

I’m Imad — a third-year Cybersecurity student at the University of Warwick, currently interning at CrowdStrike on the GTAC eCrime team working on threat intelligence and adversary tracking.

I’m particularly interested in Apple platform security (macOS/iOS), threat detection, and building things in my homelab. I attended Objective for the We (OFTW) v3 in London in 2025, which pulled me deeper into the macOS security research community.

This blog is where I write about things I’m genuinely learning: security research, tools I’m building, events I attend, and concepts I want to understand deeply enough to explain clearly.

I’m also a hobbyist photographer.
